The Strata Committee is made up of apartment owners and makes decisions regarding the day-to day running of the complex. All owners’ have the option to be on the Strata Committee whom are elected annually at the building’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Strata Committee meetings are held quarterly: March, June, September and December. Owners are allowed to attend meetings but are not allowed to participate with the meeting unless they are invited by the committee. The agenda and minutes of the Strata Committee meeting are posted on the notice board in the the foyer of Tara.
A lot of the work done by the Strata Committee happens outside formal meetings. This work is time consuming and the Strata Committee welcomes the input of other owners and residents who are keen to assist them.
The Annual General Meeting is held December/January of each year.
